Chocolatier Zeba Kohli juggles many roles with ease, apart from her passion for creating delicious chocolat, she is also a philanthropist, a mentor and an accomplished entrepreneur. All of these different avatars come together under one platform as she hosts the second edition of Project Seven, a fashion and lifestyle extravaganza. We caught up with her to find out more.
I have been promoting entrepreneurs since 2006 and 2007 but I took it a step forward last year with the introduction of Project Seven. It’s inspired by the seven chakras of Shakti – Life, Order, Wisdom, Love, Power, Imagination and Understanding – all of which promote a happy and healthy you. Over, the years, through my interactions with different people I have come across talented young people who want to start something of their own, and hosting Project Seven helps me provide a platform for these young entrepreneurs. Actress-social activist Shabana Azmi, once said to me, “You give so much of your time to entrepreneurs and different causes. You must also encourage them to deliver an excellent product and try and keep it seamless. The idea for Project Seven came from there. For me it’s not just an exhibition. It’s a showcase of excellent products by talented entrepreneurs.
